The recently recorded all night drone noise freak-out is now available! This CD contains a mind-blowing one hour live electronic psychedelic jam, recorded as nine consecutive overdubs. When asked about the marathon recording session Mr. E reported, "Sometimes I can't sleep. This is what nine hours of cold Iowa insomnia sounds like."

This weekend will see the completion of Mr. E's 2003 studio upgrade project, including expanded space, more electricity, new monitors, software, and computer hardware. Recording for the next Spider Translator release shall begin this fall.

Insiders tell us that tentative plans are being formulated for an Octopoid compilation, featuring Octopoid bands covering other Octopoid bands. If this project comes together, Charlie tells us he's already requested that The Spider Translator will take on Wisteria Lozenge's "Gay Ghost".

When confronted with a question about his recent trips to Octopoid Productions studio, Charlie admitted to a collaborative role on a new Human Aftertaste song, music video, and short film project called Pickman's Song. However, he returned from the studio on May 18 wearing lipstick and a Human Aftertaste t-shirt, so there remains a question as to his full involvement.
